I’m reaching out during a really difficult time for our little family. My maternity leave ended a couple of months ago after welcoming our baby, Rex, and I’ve been working toward becoming a substitute teacher for our school district. I’m doing everything I can to bring in income while also caring for our kids.

About a month and a half after Rex was born, my husband was unexpectedly laid off. He’s had several promising interviews, but nothing has landed yet. In the meantime, he’s been doing delivery driving to help keep us afloat, but with the cost of bills, food, and caring for two little ones, it just hasn’t been enough to catch up.
