My name is Marissa, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family—my husband and our three kids. This past month has been incredibly difficult for us. My husband lost his job, and finding a new one is taking longer than we hoped. Because of this, we’ve fallen behind on our rent and are now facing a 10-day eviction notice. We don’t have family nearby to help, and the thought of losing our home is overwhelming.

We’re doing everything we can to stay together and keep our pets with us. If we have to go into a shelter, we’ll be forced to surrender our pets, which would break our hearts. The support from this fundraiser will go directly toward catching up on rent, paying our power bill, buying food, and covering moving costs if we can’t stay in our current place. This help would give us a chance to get back on our feet while my husband continues his job search.
