My dad passed away suddenly, and our family is heartbroken. His loss was unexpected, and we are still trying to process everything.

My dad like many of us struggled at times. He loved me deeply, was always willing to help, and generously shared his wisdom with others. Anyone who truly knew him knew his heart. He was an amazing poet!

We are asking for support to help cover funeral expenses, including cremation, a basic service, and a memorial. We also need help with the costs of bringing my dad home, including flights to Prince Rupert, storage fees in Peace River that must be paid to access his belongings, and time-sensitive expenses related to his vehicle and personal affairs.

These unexpected costs have added up quickly during an already overwhelming time. Any donation, share, or kind word means more than we can express. Thank you for helping us honour my dad’s life and lay him to rest with dignity.
