My name is Miley, and I’m raising funds for my mother and our family. We recently lost my grandpa, who was the heart and soul of our family. He was an outgoing, caring person who made sure everyone around him felt loved. Even after being diagnosed with leukemia, he worked as long as he could to support us. His passing has left a huge hole in our lives, especially since he wasn’t able to leave a will. Now, my mother is responsible for making sure he gets the burial he wanted, which is much more expensive than cremation.

On top of the funeral expenses, we’re doing our best to keep my siblings’ lives as normal as possible. My sister and brother are involved in school activities like football and cheer, but those costs add up quickly. We don’t want them to have to give up what they love because of our financial situation. My mom is also struggling with her health, and I’m trying to hold everything together for our family. The stress has started to affect my own health, and my insurance only covers part of my medication costs.
