Hi everyone,

I normally wouldn’t ask for help, but my family is going through an unexpected medical emergency and we’re really struggling to keep up.

On Monday, Erik had a minor heart attack. He ended up being hospitalized for three days. He doesn’t have health insurance, so the hospital stay, testing, and now the medications and follow-up appointments are going to be very expensive. This was something we never could have prepared for.

On top of that, my paycheck was delayed due to a payroll mistake at work, and I won’t receive it until January 9th. With two kids, daily expenses, and new medical bills, things are tighter than we can manage right now.

I’m asking for help just to get us through this sudden hardship to covering medications, follow-up visits, and basic expenses until my paycheck comes in and we get back on our feet.

Anything helps, and even sharing this means a lot to us.
