Hi everyone, my name is Jordan and I’m opening up this GoFundMe on behalf of my dad.

On January 10th, my dad started losing sensitivity in his left leg. Gradually, he started to lose the ability to walk on that leg. Not so soon after, he began to lose sensation and sensitivity in his right leg. In the span of a day, he lost sensation in the lower half of his body and couldn’t walk anymore. He is not able to use the bathroom or perform any activities without the extensive help of his family members and I, his son.

After extensive tests, the doctors discovered that he suffered an extremely rare form of stroke that affects his spinal cord and the nerves around it. This stroke usually leaves people completely paralyzed, but my dad miraculously got spared from the worst and the doctors believe he can eventually walk again given rehabilitative efforts.

The funds will be used solely for his rehab, of which he desperately needs as soon as possible to get up on his feet and work towards a very long and strenuous recovery.

I kindly ask friends, family and kind strangers that may come upon this to consider donating whatever gracious amount they can so we can afford his rehab. Whatever amount is appreciated, and goes a long way to the efforts needed for my dad to improve to the best possible outcome he can achieve. Thank you.
