Help Our Family Afford Care & Medication For David

After several years of declining health and an increased severity of medical challenges that David has begun to experience, we have unfortunately come to a financial dead end. Due to the impending end of support from insurance, David will soon be continuing his road to recovery at home. Our family has decided to reach out to our friends, family, and community in hopes of raising donations or contributions that we can put towards his ongoing medical and in-home nursing care.
Initially David was admitted to the hospital in early September because of several serious seizures within a short amount of time. After over a month at the hospital, he is stabilized and back home. However he needs someone with him 24 hours a day to make sure he doesn't fall, have another seizure or even a heart attack. Upon hospitalization we found that David will also need to have Heart Surgery in the next future months. He has a partial blockage in one of his main arteries. At the moment it is not life threatening and once his Ulcers heal he will need the stent surgery.
We are hoping to raise $3,000 to find some stability in the next couple months while we transition David back home and also prepare for the recovery road ahead of us.
Every penny from donations will be spent on David’s medical bills and continuing needs. With our family and community giving our most full hearted effort, we hope to give David a dignified and comfortable quality of life as he recovers.
