On Monday, 1/11/26 Ranger woke up very sick. He had trouble walking and couldn’t even make it from his bed to the water bowl. My neighbor came over and carried him into the car so I could rush him to the vet where he had a temperature of 104°. They immediately took him back, started an IV and put him under a fan while they ran tests. He was diagnosed with a severe infection and stayed at the vet all day. He came home that evening with 5 medications and was better through Tuesday.

This morning, he woke up and went quickly downhill, he had lost all bladder control, was not accepting any food, vomiting up his medicine and couldn’t hold down water, I rushed my sweet boy back to the vet where he was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis on top of the infection.

He’s going to need a minimum of 4 days of hospitalization and treatment with the cost expected to be over 5k.

Our little fur family is asking for help as I want Ranger to have the care he needs, but the cost is very high. We’re also going through a private personal issue which has drained our funds and we were not prepared for an emergency like this.
