- UPDATE: Trip 1 complete and successful! Trip 2 in the works!!
Molly and Frank Green of St Simon’s Island, GA are organizing an emergency supply run by private plane from SSI into one of the most destroyed communities in Jamaica, Westmoreland. Many Jamaicans work in our community in St Simon’s and Sea Island, and their hometowns are in great need.
We are coordinating money, food, and basic needs that Frank will fly down THIS Saturday morning, Nov 8th, directly to friends, acquaintances, and their community in Westmoreland, Jamaica.
Funds will be coordinated by the Green family and used to pay for plane fuel, basic food and supplies, transportation on ground, flying fees, logistical helpers like airport personal. Supplies are being gathered at our home to be loaded Saturday morning!
PLEASE DONATE ASAP to cover the cost of fuel supplies and logistics.
The people of Cave Hill, Westmoreland, and its retirement community in Jamaica have been devastated by Hurricane Melissa. People in this community are desperate for basic needs. We spoke with people in need who are running out of food, have no electricity, and need potable water! They need toiletries, medical supplies, solar power, clothes.
PLEASE SHARE, donate, call or text us, or bring supplies to our home.
Thank you! Love, Frank and Molly Green.
if we funds are raised properly, we will do multiple flights!
