Todd’s Welfare Society exists for one reason: to rescue, shelter, and protect animals who have been abandoned, abused, or left with nowhere else to go. Every animal in our care depends on us completely—for food, shelter, medical treatment, and safety.

Right now, we need your help as we have struggled to make ends meet these past few months. We just do not raise enough to cope with the sheer volume of our lifesaving work.

We are in debt of £5000, and the weight of unpaid expenses is threatening our ability to continue caring for the animals we’ve already rescued. Rising veterinary bills, food costs, rent, utilities, and emergency care have pushed us beyond what we can manage on our own.

One of the animals you would be helping is Courage.

Courage is a dog who was shot in the jaw and left to die. Despite unimaginable pain and trauma, he survived. When he came to us, he needed urgent medical care, ongoing treatment, and a safe place to heal. Today, Courage is alive, safe, and recovering at our sanctuary—but his survival came at a high cost, and his care is still ongoing.

Courage’s story is not unique. Many of the animals we rescue arrive broken, injured, and terrified—but we refuse to turn them away. Dogs such as Debbie who is currently undergoing treatment at our clinic.

We are urgently trying to raise £10,000 to cover:

Outstanding veterinary bills

Food and daily care for rescued animals

Shelter rent and utilities

Emergency and medical expenses

Staff wages

This fundraiser will help us to clear past invoices and cover costs for the month of March. Without immediate support, we may be forced to make heartbreaking decisions that no rescue should ever have to face.

The animals in our care did not choose their circumstances—but we are choosing to fight for them. We are asking for your help so they don’t pay the price for a financial situation we are struggling to overcome.
