For those that don’t know Dutch, he’s our goofy, floppy 5 year old Dobie. He’s been my protector and best friend since he was a puppy. Suddenly he was showing signs of pain and losing his ability to walk. Without an MRI, we can’t really get a solid diagnosis, as it is likely a slipped disc or neurological problem. MRIs are expensive, and would be what we need to determine if surgery is an option, which can also be expensive. We’re doing pain management as of now but an MRI is really our best hope at moving forward with treatment. Any and all help is appreciated as we navigate this sudden and unfortunate turn of events.
