Help Our Dogter Chessie Live Longer
Donation protected
Chessie is a 13-14 year old chihuahua-shih tzu mix who was rescued from a central CA high-kill shelter in 2011. She has been dealing with health issues the past year but took a turn for the worst last month. Luckily, it was only an acute injury as our vet suspected. After three nights of
hospitalization she is doing the best yet since her congestive heart failure/kidney disease diagnosis!
However, this left us with a bill of almost $5,000.00 to save her life. $4754.66 to here to be exact.
We are asking for donations to help cover approximately 75% of the cost of her hospitalization and medications/kidney diet food that we were prescribed at discharge.
Chessie brings us and so many others such joy just by existing. She is our dogter and we would do anything to keep her with us as long as it benefits her.
We know it is hard times for many folx, but even a $5 donation will help. Receipts are included in the GFM pictures but please reach out if you have any other questions or prefer to donate via p a y p a l/v e n m o/z e l l e or directly to the vet.
Thank you for caring about our girl!
