URGENT Help needed to pay for Blazes Transplant
Donation protected
At only 3.5 years old our dog Blaze has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma. We are raising funds to pay for life saving treatment. We urgently need help to save Blaze.
He is scheduled to have a bone marrow transplant in Bellingham Washington which has a 90% chance of curing his cancer.
Your donations help with the many different costs we have been facing. Our insurance only covered the first 5k and we have to pay everything else out of pocket.
Spent so far:
15k - diagnosis
25k - chemotherapy and treatment
25k - donor sample analysis for transplant
Upcoming expenses
30-40k - bone marrow transplant
10- 20k - travel and expenses for donor dog and blaze to get to Washington State from the east coast and stay there for weeks.
5 - 10k - ongoing treatment until we can get him to Washington State for transplant
Blaze is currently in remission and continuing chemotherapy treatment.
Everyone who has met Blaze says he is one of the most sweet and loving dogs they have ever met. His big brown eyes seem to look into your soul and understand how you're feeling. It is especially cruel that he may be taken away from us so young and we are doing everything we can to save him. We are truly heartbroken.
