My dad has always been the rock of our family and a pillar in our community. He’s the kind of person who goes out of his way to help others, whether it’s donating to mental health organizations or supporting neighbors in need. In fact, he’s even been featured in the newspaper several times for his generosity and commitment to making a difference.
For 28 years, my dad worked for Broward County School Boards and never missed a single day of work. His dedication and reliability are unmatched, and he’s always put his family and community first. Recently, our family has faced an unexpected challenge and my dad lost his job, he is so hardworking and only had a year to retire. He has always been the sole supporter of our household. He cares for my autistic brother, my other brother who survived the Stoneman Douglas Parkland shooting, my mom who struggles with stress, and our three beloved dogs. The sudden loss of income has put a tremendous strain on our family, both financially and emotionally. We will have to lose everything if we can't get any help. Despite these hardships, my dad continues to put everyone else first, making sure we’re all cared for and safe.
We’re reaching out to the community for help during this difficult time. The funds raised will go toward essential living expenses, specialized care for my brothers and mom, and making sure our dogs are healthy and happy. Your support will give my dad the breathing room he needs to find new work and continue being the incredible person he is. If you’re able to help, even a small amount would mean the world to us. Thank you for considering a donation and for standing by our family.
