Help Our Dear Friend Melanie with Medical Bills

In the spirit of Christmas and giving, we are spotlighting a dear friend that could tremendously use our help. Melanie Carter is a giver! She is the epitome of the phrase “mother hen”. She has a heart of gold and is always thinking about others before thinking of herself, and she is always making sure everyone has everything they need to be successful and happy. She is passionate about helping others, and in fact, has guardianship of her disabled brother, whom lives with her. She has two beautiful grandchildren who she adores and cares for while their mother works.

 

Melanie was the COO for Superior Mobile Medics for 15 years, and her most notable professional accomplishment was developing the zeal in her employees to strive to be the best they can be and to accomplish their dreams though education, hard work, diligence and community outreach. Upon selling SMM, Melanie worked for ExamOne as the Senior VP of national sales. In 2019, she was forced to retire early due to an injury that escalated into a disability. This disability unfortunately required her to simplify her life, which meant no more doing the things she got so much pleasure from, like gardening, taking walks with her grandchildren, and playing with her beautiful dog, Denver. She also needed to sell her longtime home in which she raised her kids and grandchildren in order to downsize due to the overwhelming duties that were not being tended to.

 

Her medical condition has drastically debilitated her in pain and in quality of life. She has medical bills piling up, and regardless of that financial burden, she still would never turn anyone away who needed help or assistance. Since Melanie is unable to work and her continued medical expenses keep growing, we are hoping we can join together and offer some sort of financial reprieve for our dear friend.
