Forge’s symptoms have returned worse than before and he’s awaiting further care. In the mean time he’s had to miss more work and support is needed! Please give what you can, and thank you for lifting up one of our beloved community members

Hi there. I'm Ben (a.k.a. Eros) and I'm rounding up the community to raise funds for our dear friend Førge (a.k.a. Todd). As many of you may know, Førge has dealt with a host of ongoing health issues over the last several years, from a debilitating snake bite leading to A-fibrillation and numerous heart procedures including a pacemaker implant. In November of last year, he had to wear an air cast boot limiting his daily functions at work until January 25. That very day he went into A-fib and had to go on unpaid medical leave. Then in February/March he had a 4-week-long bacterial respiratory infection. Missing even more work unpaid. Then finally feeling 100% he worked his first two-week pay period of the year ending on March 31st. And that very day he started to have what he thought was allergies which actually ended up being COVID which he is still dealing with as of the posting of this GoFundMe. All of which took a huge toll on him both physically and mentally. He's had to take a lot of time off work without pay, which made him take a big hit on all of his finances leaving little for daily living expenses, housing, insurance, utilities etc…With more unpaid time off and expenses on the horizon, there will be the full unpaid pay period due to COVID which will require him to cover all of his insurance and other company benefits out of pocket. As countless people have expressed to him “Førge can’t catch a break” Previous GoFUndMe's have been an enormous (and necessary) help for him—but in these tough times money goes fast and Førge needs additional support.

Førge has come through for our community in SO MANY WAYS over the years. I am grateful for the opportunity to give back to this true mensch (a Yiddish expression for a good person who's a pillar of the community). Give what you can, $5, $10, $50, or more. Even a dollar. Every bit helps.

Førge also wanted y'all to know, it took quite some convincing to get him to let me do a GoFundMe for his expenses. He cares deeply about the community and doesn't want to overextend in asking for help. This was entirely my idea and insistence that we all care about him and want to help in whatever ways we can.
