PLEASE help our dear friend fight her battle with CANCER!

Hello, sweet Valerie (Malin) Rithamel is a wonderful friend of ours and she's recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer out of the blue (never smoked and never drank!). The bills that insurance won’t cover are adding up quickly (five figures now), and we don’t want her to stress about anything else except healing and staying strong. She desperately needs these life-saving treatments.

We work with her at Antonia's Pancake House on Sundays, but her main career for almost 30 years is taking care of patients’ eyes at Salem Vision Center. She is one of the hardest working, most caring, and amazing friends we know and she'd give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Even though she is a private person, we want to help her. We value Valerie tremendously and any support, including prayers, will help her get her through this battle. She would do the same for anyone, even if she didn’t know you well. That is how loving she is!

Please, let's come together and help a wonderful mother, friend, coworker, daughter, sister, and aunt keep her spirits up so she can save her strength and energy for chemo.
