My daughter had her guinea pigs Ivy & Iris as a birthday gift in May 2025, allowing her to be responsible, and care for her own pets.

Unfortunately Iris has recently developed an abscess on her back. With a trip to the vets, they tried to drain it but couldn’t, and she now needs surgery to stop it getting worse.

Iris is young, happy, otherwise healthy and eating well, and we really want to give her the chance to get better and live a full life.

The surgery and after care costs to remove the abscess are £300, which we can’t currently afford and so any small donation would mean the world to us all
