Seven months ago, our world stopped. Our 2-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma — words no parent is ever ready to hear. Since then, she has endured systemic chemotherapy and direct chemo injections into her eye. Watching a toddler go through that is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. And yet, she faced it all with a strength that humbled us. Her mother and I rearranged our work schedules and put life on hold to make every appointment, every treatment, every hospital visit. There were long days, sleepless nights, and quiet moments where we had to be strong for her even when we felt like breaking.
On March 3rd, she will ring the bell at the hospital — marking the end of her chemotherapy journey. That sound will mean more than words can explain. It’s the sound of courage. Of resilience. Of our little girl fighting and finishing. She turns 3 on April 29, and more than anything, we want to give her a beautiful “No More Chemo” celebration — a day filled with joy instead of hospital rooms. A day where she’s simply a happy little girl being celebrated for the warrior she is.
At the same time, months of adjusted work schedules, travel, and medical-related expenses have taken a financial toll on our family. This fundraiser will help us recover from that strain and allow us to celebrate this milestone the way she deserves. If you feel led to donate, share, or pray for her, we are truly grateful. March 3rd is more than the end of chemo. It’s the start of a new chapter for our daughter. And we are so proud of her.
