Help Our Dance Group Travel To Seattle
Donation protected
My name is Natalie and I am the choreographer of Polonez San Diego. We are an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Polish culture in San Diego and beyond through Polish folk dancing. Polonez truly is my passion, but I am not alone in my efforts to serve the Polish community of San Diego and beyond. Our group is made up of over 16 young adults who volunteer over 18 hours monthly practicing and performing traditional Polish folk dances from multiple regions of Poland. We consistently meet biweekly in order to educate ourselves, improve our skills, and broaden our artistic program to spread Polish folklore in America.
When we received the invitation to perform at the Seattle Polish Festival, excitement overflowed from our group. For the first time ever, Polonez has been granted the opportunity to perform in Washington in early July 2023!
At the Seattle Polish Festival, our group would get the amazing opportunity to perform at the Seattle Center and dance under the view of the renowned Seattle Space Needle! With the great exposure this event would bring to our group, it does not come at a cheap price and isn't possible for us without the help of donations and support which would help supplement plane tickets, rental car coverage, lodging, and meals for over 16 of our dancers.
We ask that you please consider donating to our fund so that this dream can be made a reality for our dancers and so that we can expand our audience as much as we’d like to. We will always strive to showcase the best of Polish folk dancing, and we look forward to hitting the stage in Seattle!
