Daisy Dukes is a 14 year old senior cat who we adopted back in 2012 from the Newington, Connecticut Humane Society at the age of 1. Despite her age, she is full of life, energy, and endless snuggles. Daisy greets you at the door like any dog would and even gives occasional kisses. Daisy has helped my mother tremendously as she is very emotionally intelligent for a cat. From the time we adopted her forward, her and my mother have formed an unbreakable bond and had in a sense, become her second child.

Back in 2015, Daisy underwent treatment for thyroid issues which required medication and iv treatment. She made a full recovery and was back to her usual energetic self. As of recent, Daisy started showing signs of weight loss, lack of coordination, circling, limping, and a slight paralysis on her right side. This had of course led to our decision of taking her to the vet where we were then given medication to try and treat her.

Unfortunately despite the treatment, Daisy has appeared to be dazed, lethargic, and almost unable to walk at all. As tough of a decision to make as this is, we have decided that it would be best to put our angel at rest.

This Go Fund Me is to help my mother cover the costs for Daisy to peacefully pass and pay vet bills from our attempt to help Daisy with medications. It would be greatly appreciated if you could share and/or donate if possible to help our beloved Daisy Dukes.
