Our dad Patrick Facey, went  into an out patient facility in Florida at the end of August to have surgery for spinal stenosis.  He walked in, but something went wrong during the surgery which resulted in him not being able to walk afterwards.  He was paralyzed. Even though he could not walk the doctor sent him home. One day later he was rushed back to the hospital where he had to have an emergency surgery.  He was in ICU for over a month and during that time he was intubated several times.  He is still in the hospital, but we now need help with aftercare, as the hospital is looking to discharge him.  He needs help around the clock .
