Help our dad to fight stomach cancer!

We are taking on a reading challenge to raise awarness of this illness. 

All the money raised will go towards helping daddy with costs of a special treatment in Italy.

Few words from our mum, Paulina: 

Franco is only 43 years old and a loving husband and a father of three girls(12, 9 and nearly 2 years old). He has been recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Gastric Cancer with metastasis to the Peritoneum, which is an inoperable Cancer. 

Pure devastation hit our family. 

What?? How??  Why?? That's impossible!!! You got the diagnosis wrong!! 

He did not have any symptoms only an occasional heartburn or indigestion, but he was insisting to have it checked up after few months of not feeling any better. So he did have the gastroscopy done... 

And now here I am writing to you to make you aware of this silent illness and ask for your support. Gastric Cancer grows quietly... without any symptoms... once the symptoms appear it is too late...

My husband has a long and difficult journey ahead. So much more difficult because he is being made redundant from work in the next 12 months. We must hope and pray that God will keep him present for his three daughters.

We have been aware of a treatment called HIPEC that is being done in Italy that is a hope to people with Cancer in Peritoneum. It would give us a fighting chance against this killer illness.

From now onwards I'm going to fight like crazy along with our kids, his mum and dad, brothers and extended family and friends to SAVE HIS LIFE!

Your donations will go towards the costs related to the Cancer treatments be it here in Ireland and hopefully in Italy if we qualify!

All unused funds will be donated to Cois Noire- our local Cancer Support Centre, that is helping us through this journey.
