On Thursday, December 4th, our father, Jorge Gonzalez, was taken by immigration authorities on his way to work. After more than 10 years as a welder with the same company, he was stopped on 895 South, detained at gunpoint, and his car was left on the side of the road. That moment, our lives changed. We knew he wouldn’t be coming home. Our dad has lived in this country for 24 years. He has always put his family first, working hard to give us stability, opportunity, and a loving home. His absence has left us heartbroken. He is a devoted husband and father of three: an eldest child who needs his support, a high school senior preparing for college, and a younger son who loves school and soccer.
We are raising funds for urgent legal fees to fight for his release. Immigration cases are costly, and proper representation is our only hope to bring him back to the life he built here. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us in this fight. Your support means everything to us. Thank you for standing with our family during this difficult time! We want our dad home!
