Help our dad, Sheldon

Our father Sheldon Potter is a wonderful, caring man whose main priority in life has been to make his family and friends happy. Whether he was becoming embarrassingly involved in his sons’ hockey games, cheering more loudly than anyone else in the rink; or ensuring he spent every Saturday with his daughter, no matter how busy his week was, our father gave us everything he had to give.

Now it’s our turn to return the favour. Those who know him, will have experienced some of the same sadness we have, watching helplessly over the past couple of years as his sharp mind has slowly left him.  Sheldon is suspected of having a degenerative neurological disorder.

He will never again be able to support himself without the help of others. Social Services will go a long way, but the lists for Long Term Care Facilities and Subsidized Housing stretch into years. As we search for ways to house, feed, and clothe him sustainably, we need your help.

Please help our dad so he can continue to live his life appreciating those he loves, his family and friends.
