On November 3rd, our dad, Gary Stokes, lost nearly everything in a devastating structure fire in Urbana, Ohio. His apartment was destroyed, along with all of his clothes, furniture, and personal belongings. Thankfully, he was not home at the time — but he’s now starting over with nearly nothing.

Right now, he’s staying with family while he tries to figure out his next steps. He’ll need to find a new place to live and replace all the basic things we often take for granted — clothes, household items, and furniture.

Anyone who knows our dad knows he’s the kind of person who would be the first to help someone else in this situation. He’s always been generous, hardworking, and selfless — and now, he’s the one who needs a little help.
