Help our Dad Papa Reggie through cancer and stroke

My Dad Reggie Pickett wanted me to give everyone an update on how he's been doing, since it hasn't really been made public knowledge yet. Some of you already know that a few weeks ago, Dad went in for a biopsy for prostate cancer. Those results came back that 2 of 12 biopsies are cancerous. At the moment, we are unclear of how the cancer treatment will proceed or the stages, etc. During the same time we got these results, Dad had a relatively large stroke. He has a mass on the back of his brain from the stroke that is causing lingering side effects.  He will be starting PT asap, and hopefully regains most cognitive function. He has one artery in his neck completely blocked and one very close to being blocked. They have him on injections and new medications to hopefully keep that remaining artery mostly cleared until they can operate. As for a timeline, this is what we know now: PT to regain more function, surgery for the remaining artery, and then back to planning treatment for the cancer.. Anyone that knows Dad knows he is a very hard worker. He is the sole provider. With recovery from his stroke and cancer treatments it will be a while before a steady flow of income is available.
