Help Our Dad "Ito" Fight Cancer

Hello Friends & Family,

We come to you today, humbly asking for your support for our father, Jose Luis De La Cerda. In November of 2022, he was hospitalized with multiple fractures, extremely frail and weak. This came to a surprise as he’s been pretty healthy. He was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a rare cancer of the plasma cells. Since then he has been hospitalized an additional 2 times for kidney failure, anemia, severe pain and fainting spells, was placed in a rehab facility and has undergone numerous bouts of chemotherapy.

"Ito" (the nickname his grandchildren gave him because they cannot say abuelito) has always been there for his family and friends, especially during our time of need. Our family is doing everything we can, financially and emotionally, to help him fight this courageous fight.

Anything you are willing to share with Ito to offset some of the expenses will be gratefully appreciated.

Hola Amigos, 

 Acudimos a ti hoy, pidiendo humildemente tu apoyo para nuestro padre, José Luis De La Cerda. En noviembre de 2022 fue hospitalizado con múltiples fracturas, extremadamente frágil y débil. Esto fue una sorpresa ya que ha estado bastante saludable. Le diagnosticaron mieloma múltiple, un cáncer raro de las células plasmáticas. Desde entonces, ha sido hospitalizado 2 veces más por insuficiencia renal, anemia, dolor intenso y desmayos, fue colocado en un centro de rehabilitación y se ha sometido a numerosos episodios de quimioterapia.

"Ito" (el apodo que le pusieron sus nietos porque no saben decir abuelito) siempre ha estado ahí para su familia y amigos, especialmente en nuestros momentos de necesidad. Nuestra familia está haciendo todo lo posible, financiera y emocionalmente, para ayudarlo a pelear esta valiente lucha.

Cualquier cosa que esté dispuesto a compartir con Ito para compensar algunos de los gastos será apreciada con gratitud.
