We are starting this GoFundMe on behalf of our dad, who was recently diagnosed with stage 2 colon cancer. This diagnosis has been overwhelming for our entire family, and while we are grateful it was caught at this stage, the road ahead is still very challenging.

Over the next several weeks, my dad will be in recovery after his recent surgery, and due to some complications, he's hanging out in the hospital a bit longer than expected, which means he will be unable to work during this time. As a result, medical bills, household expenses, and monthly costs are quickly adding up.

Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket expenses for appointments, procedures, medications, and recovery-related needs are more than our family can manage alone.

My dad is hardworking and tries to donate to charity when he is able. Asking for help does not come easily, but right now, any support—big or small—would mean the world to us. The funds raised will go directly toward:

Medical bills and treatment-related expenses

Monthly household costs while he is out of work

Basic necessities during his recovery
