Just last month, our father was in a serious motorcycle accident that left him unable to work and in need of ongoing recovery. As we began to adjust to the emotional and financial toll of the accident, our world was shaken again when he was recently diagnosed with small cell carcinoma, an aggressive form of lung cancer.

This diagnosis has brought a new level of urgency and fear into our lives. The treatments he needs—specialist appointments, chemotherapy, potential hospital stays, and medications—are extensive and costly. Unfortunately, due to the accident, our dad has been out of work, and our mom is doing everything she can to hold things together. But the truth is: she cannot carry this burden alone.

Our dad is the heart of our family. He is a proud father, a devoted husband, and the most incredible grandfather you could ever meet. His laugh fills a room, his wisdom guides us, and his love has shaped our lives in countless ways. He has always been the one to lift others up—and now, he needs us more than ever.
