Help our dad get a car back

On Tuesday, November 23, our dad and his girlfriend were in a horrible car accident on a last minute trip up to Colorado for Thanksgiving. They were stopped for construction on the freeway when a truck plowed into their car going 75mph. They hit another car as they spun. My dad was pinned between the freeway barrier and the car and they had to cut the door off to get him out.

 

Dad broke his back and several ribs and bruised his spleen, his girlfriend also broke her back and has a head injury. Both of them are alive and will mend. The cop that was on the scene said he was sure no one could have made it out of that car alive. We are so lucky to still have a dad.

 

Unfortunately, the man that hit them does not have insurance and while they both have health insurance, they will not be compensated for the car that was just totaled. Neither of them can work until they recover and get home. They are both stuck in Colorado now, recovering but will need a car to get back home to Las Vegas.

 

We have started this go fund me to try to get them a car to get back home and focus on recovery.
