Help our Dad Dexter after the Altadena Fire

Donation protected

I am Alicia Johnson. My sister and I created this GoFundMe on behalf of our father, Alan Dexter Johnson. He is a proud Pasadena native who has lived in this city for 69 years. He resided in Altadena on Altadena Dr. and unfortunately lost everything in the Eaton Fire. He woke up around 2 a.m. to his house on fire and barely had time to put on his shoes. He has been unable to return to the site as it is currently being blocked by the National Guard.

My dad is a hardworking veteran. We’ve always been able to depend on him. Due to a recent hip and back surgery, he is on disability and unable to work. He was recovering slowly and unexpectedly this disaster occurred. He is a strong, independent person and doesn't like asking for help; however, he is in need due to this disaster.

The Johnson Family is in desperate need and would appreciate assistance getting my dad back on his feet. My dad is an amazing father, grandfather, manager, just such a special person who would give to anybody in need. Alicia and De Anna Johnson would like to thank you in advance and give prayers to everyone who has encountered loss during this disaster.

All funds will be used to help recover loss due to the fire destroying everything he owned.
