Our dad is the strongest person we know. Just last year, he was a healthy, hard-working 45-year-old supporting our family and working full-time at Walmart Distribution. Then, late in 2024, he began having vision problems that led to a devastating diagnosis: Midline Diffuse Glioma, H3 K27 mutation, WHO Grade 4, an aggressive and inoperable brain tumor located in his brainstem.
Since then, his condition has worsened—he’s lost most function on his right side, struggles to walk, and experiences ongoing vision loss and dizziness. He bravely completed radiation, but it hasn’t improved his symptoms. Chemotherapy isn’t effective for this type of tumor.
His short-term disability has ended, and without long-term coverage, he currently has no income. He’s unable to work, but he continues to fight every day for us—his kids.
There is some hope: ONC201, a treatment that has shown promise for this rare tumor, is only available through compassionate use. Thanks to the hard work of his medical team, he has just been approved to begin receiving it. However, the process and ongoing care are costly.
Your donation will help cover:
• Medical and living expenses
• Transportation and care
• Access to and continuation of ONC201 treatment
Thank you for standing with our family during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, share, and message of support means more than we can express.
