Help Our Dad Battle Brain Cancer with Hope
Donation protected
After experiencing numbness in his hands and stroke-like symptoms shortly after Thanksgiving 2024, our dad was diagnosed with a glioblastoma in the right frontal lobe and insula areas of the brain.
Since December 18, 2024, he’s endured 3 major surgeries - 1 brain surgery to remove most of the tumor, a second brain surgery to manage an infection, and a 3rd emergency surgery for a perforated colon. He also received GammaTile radiation implants as part of a clinical trial.
He currently experiences long periods of fatigue, left sided facial and limb weakness, and periodic personality changes that requires 24/7 care.
Who Is Our Dad?
Our dad is the kind of man who would leave work early to coach his sons' baseball teams, travel across the country for family events, and make everyone around him feel supported and loved.
He is a lifelong salesman who lit up trade show floors with his energy and optimism. He was always active—biking, playing adult league soccer, lifting at the gym, and taking great pride in gardening and landscaping. He’s a devoted husband of 38 years, a proud father and brother, and a fiercely loyal friend.

How This Has Affected Our Family
This diagnosis has been devastating for our entire family—especially our mom, who has been by his side every step of the way. She’s had to become his full-time nurse, advocate, and caretaker while watching the love of her life lose his independence.
His family - 3 sons, sister, brother, and mother - have all been faced with the challenge of supporting him and our mom from different states & time zones—navigating decisions around care, treatment, and long-term planning. The emotional, logistical, and financial toll has been overwhelming.
What He’s Fighting For
Our dad’s greatest desire is simple: to be surrounded by his family and being present in the moments that matter most, such as:
- Supporting his 3 grandchildren on the sidelines for their games or in the crowd at their school performances.
- Being at his youngest son's wedding in California in November of 2025.
- Sitting at the kitchen table playing card games with his beloved sister, brother, mother, and wife.
