Help Our Dad After a Devastating Trailer Fire

We never imagined having to write something like this.

Our dad was involved in a devastating trailer fire and was found unresponsive. He suffered serious burn injuries and smoke inhalation and is currently in the burn unit, where doctors are closely monitoring his lungs and overall condition. Right now, we are taking things one moment at a time, waiting, praying, and hoping for healing.

In an instant, our dad lost his home and everything inside it. What followed has been overwhelming—emotionally, physically, and financially.

As we face this uncertain road, we are already seeing the reality of the medical costs involved. Burn care is extensive and ongoing, and if our dad recovers, he will require continued hospitalization, rehabilitation, follow-up care, medications, and long-term support. He will also need help securing housing and basic necessities as he works toward recovery and stability after losing his home.

And if the unthinkable were to happen, there will still be significant medical bills and final expenses that no family is ever prepared to carry alone—especially under circumstances this sudden and traumatic.

We created this GoFundMe to help ease some of the financial burden so we can focus on what matters most right now: being present with our dad, advocating for his care, and supporting one another through this crisis.
