Prostate cancer remains one of the most common cancers affecting men in the UK, yet early detection through simple screening can make a life-saving difference. Organised by the Rotary Club of Hendon Benevolent Fund (in partnership with Prostate Cancer UK and Stemax Consult), this community-led initiative aims to raise awareness of prostate health and provide accessible PSA test for men who may not otherwise seek or have access to screening.

Taking place on 25th April 2026 at the Green Man Community Centre in East Finchley, the event will bring together healthcare professionals and volunteers to create a welcoming environment where individuals can take a proactive step towards their health. Beyond the screening itself, the initiative is about encouraging open conversations, reducing stigma, and promoting early action.

Through this fundraising effort, Hendon Rotary seeks to support the delivery of screening services, educational resources, and future health awareness programmes within the community. Every donation will help expand access to testing and ensure more individuals can benefit from early detection.
