Help Our Children Learn in Comfort – Air Conditioning Fundraiser

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

Alhamdulillah, over the past few years Darul Madinah has continued to grow, providing an Islamic and academic education to children in our community. We strive to create the best possible environment for our pupils to learn, develop their character, and strengthen their connection with Allah.

As many of you know, the recent warm weather has made classroom conditions extremely difficult for our youngest children. Whilst the school was previously able to fund and install air conditioning units in our cabin classrooms, we have now reached a point where our Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms urgently require the same support.

Imagine being only 3, 4, 5 or 6 years old and trying to concentrate, learn, read Qur'an and participate in lessons whilst sitting in a classroom that becomes unbearably hot. Our children and staff do their best, but the heat can make learning challenging and uncomfortable.

We are aiming to raise £10,000 to install 5 air conditioning units:

✅ 2 units in Nursery

✅ 1 unit in Reception

✅ 1 unit in Year 1

✅ 1 unit in Year 2

These units will benefit not only the children currently attending the school, but hundreds of children who will pass through these classrooms in the years to come, In Sha Allah.

This is an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy. Every child who learns a letter of the Qur'an, performs salah, memorises a surah, gains knowledge, or develops into a practising Muslim within these classrooms will be a source of ongoing reward for those who helped make their learning environment comfortable.
