Help Our Café & Cocktail Bar Stay Open Until Summer

This café and cocktail bar was built with one simple idea: to create a place where people feel welcome.

Since opening our doors, we’ve watched strangers become regulars, neighbours become friends, and quiet mornings turn into lively evenings over coffee and cocktails. What started as a dream has slowly become a real community space — somewhere people work, meet, celebrate, and unwind.

But like many independent hospitality businesses, our first winter has been incredibly challenging.

Between the seasonal slowdown and several unexpected startup costs after opening, we’ve found ourselves under financial pressure during the quietest time of year. These are the kinds of hurdles many new small businesses face — they just happened to arrive all at once.

The good news is that we’re close to turning the corner.

Longer days, warmer evenings, and busier streets are just around the corner, and we know summer is when places like ours truly come alive. We’re already seeing encouraging signs, and we’re confident that if we can make it through the end of winter and early spring, we’ll be able to sustain ourselves moving forward.

That’s why we’ve launched this fundraiser with a goal of £15,000 — enough to help us bridge the gap to the busy summer months.

These funds will help cover essential costs including:

• Rent and utilities during the final quiet months

• Staff wages to keep our small team employed

• Outstanding supplier and startup costs

• Stock and preparation for the busy summer season
