Help Our Brother Stuart Scott in Asheville North Carolina

Hello, my name is Jeffrey Thomson, one of the Founders of the Theta Psi, Chapter of Sigma Chi, Waterloo, 87. One of our very dear Brothers and Friends to all, Stuart Scott and his family and neighbours who live in Asheville NC suffered "Biblical Devastation" from Hurricane Helene.

Let me tell you about Stuart. He is a Brother who brings great lustre to our badge. He is a Brother who will help anyone in distress without a second thought. During Covid-19 Stuart ran extra shifts as a nurse to help unload the stress on the nurses that worked for/with him. He held the hands of the dying, since their families could not enter the hospital. Anyone who knows Stuart has been touched by his compassion, devotion and humility.

Now Stuart Scott, his family, neighbours and other Sigma Chis in his area need our help.

Power was temporarily restored on Sunday and they were hoping for fresh water tomorrow?

ALL highways leading into Asheville are closed - wiped out.
