Cancer, as we all know to be one of the strongest obstacles life can offer an individual has presented itself in this child's life, but him being the brave champion that he is, has not resigned himself to sadness or defeat. His spirit is strong and his energy resilient- in this difficult time, he still manages to worry about his family and their emotions on this journey. He says "I AM OK and WILL BE OK"- "How are you?". We have all the faith and hope in the world, that our James will get through this but we cannot do it alone. During this time, his parents will be sole care-takers, and are ready to battle cancer with him, but they need help with his medical expenses. COVID has made things even more difficult on the family, as we all want to offer our physical support but due to social distancing policies, must hold our distance. We understand that although we cannot be there in person, our help can shine through in these dark times through other outlets of support and help.
This gofundme is for James Cobo, who has been recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, cancer. The cancer is in his right leg femur, he will undergo an approximate 10 weeks of Chemo, after which he will have reconstructive surgery in hopes to remove all cancer , and possibly more chemo- which we do not know yet to be confirmed as doctors want to see how he progresses with his first weeks of treatment and surgery.
