Help our brother Antonio with medical expenses

3 years ago our brother Antonio Nuno was diagnosed with a rare illness called POEMS disease. It’s a progressive disease with no cure. It has caused neuropathy in his limbs which has left him unable to walk, and is slowly working its way up his body. After Christmas he was admitted into the ER and had a stroke which left him unable to talk and move the right side of his body. They are now transporting him to UC SanFrancisco to receive treatment. 

This disease has left a once strong, active, happy young man to someone who is almost completely bedridden. He has a young daughter who he can no longer do the things he use to do with. Things like just taking her to the park. We are asking for any help we can get for medical expenses and travel expenses for our mother to be able for her to be with him
