Hi everyone

Our brave pup Narnie, has recently been diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), a serious spinal condition common in dachshund and we are heartbroken. Narnie is only 4 years old, full of personality, energy, and love but this condition has left him in pain and at risk of losing mobility in his back legs.

Right now, Narnie is in the care of some of the best veterinary specialists in North Queensland, but needed emergency surgery earlier today to prevent his condition from worsening. Without the surgery, he risked paralysis and lifelong pain.

As loving pet parents, we had to give him the best chance at recovery. The surgery, hospitalization, and post-operative care are estimated to cost around $10,000-$12,000. This is far beyond what we can manage on our own.

We are asking for any support to help with Narnie’s life-saving surgery and give him a chance to run, play, and live the happy, healthy life he deserves. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to giving Narnie a second chance.
