Our beautiful 16-year-old cousin’s life changed overnight.

After starting a new contraceptive pill, she woke up one morning suffering with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), a condition that has completely turned her world upside down. Since then, she has been struggling every single day with her mobility and health while trying to continue her education and sit her exams at school.

She now requires a wheelchair for most of her daily movement and will likely need long-term mobility support. Something no teenager should ever have to face. Alongside this, her home needs urgent adaptations, including changes to the bathroom so she can safely wash and care for herself with dignity. She also needs additional medical equipment and support to help improve her quality of life and independence.

As a family, we are doing everything we can, but the costs are overwhelming. I’ve never asked for help like this before, but we would be so grateful for any donation, no matter how small. Even sharing this page could make such a difference.

We just want to give her the chance to stay mobile, continue her education, and still live her life as fully as possible despite everything she is facing.
