Our sweet niece, Claire, is only 6 years old, but already showing the kind of courage most of us can only dream of. A few weeks ago, our family received heartbreaking news — Claire has been diagnosed with lymphoma, a type of cancer that affects the lymph nodes, blood, bone marrow, spleen, and other tissues throughout the body.

Since then, Claire has begun a long journey of treatments, hospital stays, and countless doctor visits. The chemotherapy and other treatments are working hard to fight the cancer, but they also take a toll — Claire often feels weak and can’t play like she used to. Through it all, she is showing her bright spirit and what true bravery looks like. 

We’re raising funds to help Claire and her parents with:

• Medical expenses not covered by insurance

• Time off work so Claire always has family by her side during hospital stays, frequent chemo treatments and doctor visits 

• Therapies to promote her healing that aren't covered by insurance (music, art, etc.) 

• Educational supports that aren't provided by the school district, so she doesn't fall behind in her learning as she’ll be out of school for months

• Comfort items, healthy meals, and small things that make tough days a little brighter
