As many know, Annie, Gia, and Derek traveled to South Carolina this past weekend to watch Triston race.  While waiting trackside Annie was hit from behind by a racer that lost control of his bike coming out of a jump.  She was admitted to the hospital with a compound fracture, endured a long surgery to rebuild her bone structure, and received strong IV antibiotics.  With traction rods protruding from her leg, ankle and foot, Annie was cleared to make the long trek back to her home to Ohio where she is now resting.  

Annie works three jobs that require standing, and active and quick movement on her feet daily...none of which will be possible within the next few months.  This is a single Mother who has helped most of us, in one way or another, as that is just her nature.  It is our turn to support her and Gia, so that she may focus on getting better.
