Our wonderful friend and neighbor, Rhonda Jensen, was diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumor in May. Surgery was scheduled quickly after the MRI showed it to be the size of an orange. Most meningioma tumors are benign and grow (usually slowly) on the dura lining of the brain. The doctor felt confident that it was non-cancerous and we are waiting for the pathologist to confirm.

After surgery was performed on June 1st, Rhonda is showing remarkable improvement, but the road to recovery will be a long one. As many of you know, Rhonda is self-employed.
