Help our beloved mom

On March 26th, our beloved mom, Mildred, was in a devastating accident—one that left all of us fearing the unthinkable. In those first moments, we truly believed we might lose her. But by the grace of God, she was given a second chance at life. Since then, we’ve been by her side in the hospital, holding onto hope and witnessing the incredible strength she continues to show each day.

Her recovery journey will be long and incredibly challenging—not just physically and emotionally, but financially as well. The medical bills and day-to-day expenses are far beyond what my siblings and I can manage alone. That’s why we’re reaching out, humbly asking for your help.

If you know our mom, you know she is one of the strongest, most resilient women you’ll ever meet. She’s faced and overcome so many obstacles throughout her life, always with grace, faith, and fierce independence. This situation is especially hard for her because she’s never been one to ask for help. But right now, she needs all of us.

We have faith in her medical team, and most importantly, we have faith in God’s plan. We believe she will come through this, stronger than ever—but we can’t do it without your support.

El 26 de marzo, nuestra querida madre, Mildred, sufrió un accidente devastador—uno que nos hizo temer lo peor. En esos primeros momentos, realmente pensamos que podríamos perderla. Pero por la gracia de Dios, se le dio una segunda oportunidad de vida. Desde entonces, hemos estado a su lado en el hospital, aferrándonos a la esperanza y siendo testigos de la increíble fortaleza que sigue demostrando cada día.

Su camino hacia la recuperación será largo y muy desafiante—no solo física y emocionalmente, sino también en lo económico. Las facturas médicas y los gastos diarios están muy por encima de lo que mis hermanos y yo podemos afrontar solos. Por eso hoy les pedimos, con humildad, su ayuda.

Si conocen a nuestra mamá, saben que es una de las mujeres más fuertes y resilientes que puedan conocer. Ha enfrentado y superado muchos obstáculos a lo largo de su vida, siempre con fe, gracia y una independencia inquebrantable. Esta situación es especialmente difícil para ella porque nunca ha sido de pedir ayuda. Pero en este momento, la necesita.

Confiamos en su equipo médico, y lo más importante, confiamos en el plan de Dios. Creemos firmemente que saldrá adelante, más fuerte que nunca—pero no podemos lograrlo sin su apoyo.
