✨ Community Call to Action ✨
We are reaching out today with a heavy but hopeful heart to ask our community to come together in support of someone incredibly dear to us all—a friend and mentor, who is currently fighting to stay healthy while navigating a major health crisis.
This man is the reason we are the dancers we are today. His wisdom, discipline, and unwavering commitment to truth in art shaped us in ways we will forever be grateful for. He has given us—and so many around the world—his time, his energy, and his heart without ever asking for a single dime in return. He’s always stood tall in his artistic integrity, even when it wasn’t easy.
Now, he’s not only fighting for his health, but also to stay housed, fed, and to keep his small business afloat. And let it be known—he would never ask for this kind of help himself. So we are asking on his behalf.
We advocate for his integrity. We stand for his wisdom, his kindness, his generosity. We know how much he’s poured into our community. And now more than ever, it’s important that the Philadelphia dance and arts community, and especially the Temple University dance and theatre family, band together for one of our own.
If you have the means to give, please do. If you don’t, please share. Every little bit helps. Let’s show up for someone who has shown up for so many.
Let’s remind him that the love he’s sown in this world has not gone unnoticed.
Please DM for more info or ways to support.
