In July, we found out that one of our beautiful souls, our community grandmother, had been diagnosed with lung cancer. She is 81 and currently in the hospital fighting for her life. The doctors are saying at this point we are making her comfortable, and every day her health is declining. This is something that happened out of nowhere. Every day she still smiles and never complains. She has other medical issues that are taking over the situation as well. The doctors have notified the family to prepare final rites. Her family, friends, and adopted loved ones love her dearly. We know that death is a part of life and everyone has to go one day, but sometimes it’s way too soon. Due to her having no life insurance policy, we are asking for donations to prepare for burial expenses. The family is praying and trying to be in good spirits, but every day is a struggle.
