Our dog isn’t just a pet—he’s our son and a cherished member of our family. He’s about four years old, incredibly friendly, and goes everywhere with us. He loves everyone he meets, enjoys riding on mowers, tractors, four-wheelers, and golf carts, and swimming is one of his favorite things. Most of all, he adores his daddy and brings so much joy to our lives.
One Saturday night, something unimaginable happened. As his uncle was leaving our house, our dog chased after the truck, not wanting him to go. In a heartbreaking moment, he bit at the tires and his nose was run over. The injuries were severe—a broken nose, a hairline fracture on his skull, and so much blood we thought we’d lost him. He needed a blood transfusion and went into shock, but by the grace of God, he survived. The animal hospital was open that night only because someone was there to feed their cats, and I truly believe it was a miracle.
We’re on a fixed income and had to pay the emergency bill in full with a credit card, even though we were already struggling to fix one of our trucks. The financial strain is overwhelming, but our love for our dog is even greater. He has a long road to recovery ahead, but he’s strong and surrounded by love. I’m asking for all the prayers and support you can offer. Every donation and kind thought means the world to us and helps give our boy the chance to heal. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
